Turns out that there was a small error in my formula.
When you have an album or artist without a greatest hit (five star), this creates a zero to be multiplied. We know what happens when you take 0 into another number, right?
Yeah, we had a lot of artists getting far more credit than they deserved on sucky albums.
This was corrected and luckily found early in the process.
